IBM, Syncfusion & The Advisory Board Company (now Optum)
Started as a .NET developer at Syncfusion, rapidly leading the entire Chennai development division. Worked at IBM and then The Advisory Board Company where I was part of the core team that built Market Advantage — a product that gave hospitals referral intelligence and helped them become market leaders. That product is now inside Optum, one of the world’s largest healthcare companies.
2012 — Product builder
VBuy.in — India’s first map-based hyperlocal marketplace
Built VBuy.in before hyperlocal was even a category — a price comparison and discovery engine for local retailers within a 25km radius. The platform solved the “research online, buy offline” problem years before the term entered mainstream startup vocabulary.
2014 — Founder
VS Online Services Pvt Ltd — Chennai
Founded VS Online Services, building software across Healthcare, Telecom, Real Estate, Rewards Platforms, AI-Driven Cloud Dimensioning, VoIP, and Trading Platforms. Built SaaS products that helped startups secure funding, scale, and exit via mergers. One VoIP product was acquired — built from scratch when even an Apple senior VP co-founder couldn’t define the requirements clearly enough for anyone else to build it.
2025 — Author
